Jessi, Val, and Leslie are long-time runners and lovers of outside, nature, and trail running!
We run on the local trail of the Quad Cities, which includes Sylvan Island, Sunderbruch Park, Wildcat Den State Park, Illiniwek Forest Preserve, Dorrance Park, Stephens Park, and many, many more!
We look forward to meeting like-minded women that love the outdoors!
Morgantown TS was founded by Anne Foreman, Sara Lunden & Stephanie Carlson after noticing the vast difference of numbers between womxn and their counterparts in the trail community in the area. We started our Trail Sisters with the goal to bring us together on the trails without worry of discrimination or intimidation.
We all are ultra runners, who are not opposed to hiking or taking breaks. 😂
We hold most events at Cooper’s Rock state forest and smaller runs around the area including (but not limited to) Valley Falls, Baker’s Ridge, White Park, Chestnut Ridge and Snake Hill WMA.
We have also joined events with the Pittsburgh Trail Sisters in places such as Ohiopyle and varios points on the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail.
Please know that if you walk, hike or run Trail Sisters is there for you. There is no too slow or too fast, too short or too long. We like to think we have something for every one!
My name is Jackie and I am the leader of TS Boston, welcome! I’m primarily a trail runner and I’ve completed several ultras from 50K – 100K distances, and enjoy planning and running mountain adventures throughout the Northeast.
Our home trails are in the Middlesex Fells and along the Charles, but we do travel to different trails within ~30min drive of Boston.
We are a no-drop, womxn-only run group looking to grow womxn’s participation in trail running throughout the greater Boston area!
Trail Sisters Buffalo, NY is led by Becca and Bree Rehac who are both trail sisters and sisters in real life.
We hold events in a variety of settings around the Western New York area. Past events have been held in Erie and Cattaraugus counties at places like Chestnut Ridge, Sprague Brook Park, and Allegany State Park. We have members from all over the WNY area and hope to continue to explore new trails all over the region.
Trail Sisters Syracuse, NY is the closest in proximity to us. They are a great sister group and together we try to cover all of the space in between. If you live in the counties between Buffalo and Syracuse, you may consider joining both groups.
Hi! I’m Valentina, mum of 2 big boys and a dog. I love exploring the outdoors! Whether trail running or wild swimming, being connected with nature and friends is definitely one of my favourite things to do.
We meet on Sundays every 2 weeks. Location varies but we mainly run on South East London trails.
We are a diverse and inclusive trail running group welcoming women to join our social runs, have fun and make new friends.
Welcome to Trail Sisters Boulder! Group leaders Shalana, Jenny, Sarah, Kristin, and Tina welcome you with open arms into our community.
We hold events throughout the entire Boulder area. This includes Boulder, Louisville, Lafayette, and Superior. Occasionally we venture west to do some fun mountain running!
We often run on Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks trails. Visit https://bouldercolorado.gov/osmp/trails-and-maps to stay informed on trail closures, dog regulations, parking permits, and more.
This group is for womxn of all ages, abilities, gender identities, races, and backgrounds. Whether you are a beginner, a trail veteran, or anything in between, we would love for you to join us.
Official group runs have been temporarily put on hold due to our local COVID-19 health orders. Feel free to post in the group to find a buddy or two, but we encourage you to keep group sizes small and distanced. Please stay informed on local health guidance and follow all recommended protocols- There may be periods of time where recreating with members of other households is prohibited.
Though we may not run together soon, please don’t hesitate to shout out any questions you may have! Though group runs are great, this community is also about sharing experiences, resources, wisdom, and advice.
Can’t wait to meet you!
My name is Melina and my co-leader is Theresa. We are both mothers and love to trail run. We hold events all over Central Oregon. We welcome all levels and paces!
Hi there! I am a runner and hiker living in Sandia Park, New Mexico and am honored to be leading a group of such amazing runners and hikers in the Albuquerque area. My vision for the group is to provide opportunities for community and connection among our members and encourage outdoor trail experiences for people of all speeds and abilities.
Our group runs mainly in the Sandia Foothills but this year I am trying to hold more events in the East Mountain areas as well. New trails and locations are always welcome and I encourage our members to submit any suggestions as to where we should plan to run next!
