Staying hydrated increases energy, improves recovery and thermoregulation, and aids in mental clarity - all of which can have a significant impact on performance and injury risk. Today we’re going to specifically talk about how to determine your water intake needs during your runs, but I want to remind you that daily hydration when you’re not running is also something you should be mindful of as it’s hard to effectively hydrate during your run if you’re starting in a dehydrated state!
